PORTLAND, Oregon (Ticker) -- Travis Outlaw, LaMarcus Aldridgeand Martell Webster were a three-headed monster as the PortlandTrail Blazers defeated the Sacramento Kings, 101-77, Fridaynight at the Rose Garden.


Outlaw scored 24 points off the bench while Aldridge and Websteradded 18 and 17 respectively.


Aldridge got the Blazers out early by hitting his first threeshots for a quick 6-0 lead. Sacramento answered back with a15-3 run, capped by a Mike Bibby three-pointer - his only points- at the 3:41 mark. Portland responded by ending the quarter<div class="pre">on a 11-4 spurt to reclaim a 21 -19 lead.</div>

In the second, forwards Webster and Outlaw, who happen to be<div class="pre">battling each other for the starting small forward position,</div>sparked the Trail Blazers and their new up-tempo style.

Webster's three-pointer at the 5:36 mark gave Portland a 39-31lead while Outlaw scored nine points on 4-of-5 shooting.

The Blazers kept it going in the third with a combined effort.<div class="pre">Steve Blake's free-throws with 5:59 made it 64-45 and</div><div class="pre">Sacramento added to its own woes by picking up three technical</div><div class="pre">fouls, one apiece by Bibby and center Brad Miller to go along</div><div class="pre">with a delay of game. Channing Frye's free-throw ended the</div>quarter and Portland claimed a commanding 76-58 lead.

Webster didn't let six stitches above his right eye slow himdown in the fourth. After colliding with teammate center JoelPrzybilla on a rebound attempt, Webster left the court, got<div class="pre">doctored up, then responded by converting an alley-oop dunk and</div>hitting a three on his next possession, making it 83-62.

Portland's Brandon Roy, last season's Rookie of the Year, was inthe lineup for the first time. He has been bothered by a sore<div class="pre">left heel and played just the first and third quarters, scoring</div><div class="pre">nine points with two assists. To compensate for Roy's</div>return, Steve Blake moved to point guard and Jarrett Jack cameoff the bench.


<div class="pre">The Kings were without leading scorer Kevin Martin (bruised</div>left shin) and Ron Artest played just two minutes. JohnSalmons, who started in place of Martin, scored 14 points.
