Game turns Wii Remote into hockey stick

Canadian firm Big Blue Bubble has announced that it is developing a sports game that will transform the Wii Remote into a hockey stick.

Hockey Allstar Shootout will see users take shots while competing in three hockey skill competitions, including Sharp Shooter, Power Shot and Head to Head.

The game will feature both solo and multiplayer modes.

Hockey Allstar Shootout will be released via Nintendo's online WiiWare service. A launch date has yet to be announced.
