For some strange reason, this reminds me of that recently closed thread. ;)

I think Vince has it right...

"Let me add my voice of support to the people outraged by the bullying and persecution of people for their differences, whatever those differences may be," the sometimes-boorish, sometimes-cuddly actor said in a statement Thursday.

"Comedy and joking about our differences breaks tension and brings us together. Drawing divided lines over what we can and cannot joke about does exactly that; it divides us. Most importantly, where does it stop."

They need to re-open the Gay Thread!

So, we can't refer to the 1890s as the "Gay 90s?" Fuck that; I'll say what I want. I revel in political incorrectness. Make no mistake, PC is nothing more than an attempt at thought control. It has to do with power, not the feelings of others.

BTW, I love that Anderson Cooper can use the term "teabagger" with abandon, but someone says "gay" in a movie preview and he chooses to get indignant. The guy is shameful. If he really cared about his gay bretheren, he'd come out of the closet. Instead, he just whines about words.

Anderson Cooper isn't gay.

and his boyfriend isn't either.

:ohno:

To be sure, there is censorship on spaceship S2. It's just kept in the closet.

Now, as to the movie scene, I just don't see the big deal. It's a funny scene.

^^ In that vein, I seem to remember that Chef wanted everyone to stuff his Salty Chocolate Balls into their mouth and suck 'em.
