Gene Fieger shot a 3-under 69, hitting a sand wedge approach to 2 feet on the final hole, for a share of the third-round lead Saturday in the Senior PGA Professional National Championship.
Fieger, the 50-year-old PGA director of golf at the Hideout Club in Naples, Fla., matched Mike Lawrence, a 55-year-old PGA life member from Easley, S.C., at 8-under 208. Lawrence shot a 72.
