Sign Gerald Green and allow Ager to jump back in the D-League for some practise?

i wish, we need outside shooting, if boki can get playing time while being a horrific defender, why cant a guy like green?

No way, I don't want high54life on the Nets board FEAR

And like Jizzy said, we need shooting, not dunking.

gerald is a good shooter. he shoots 36% for his career from beyond the arc.

Gerald Green is the worst player that has been on an NBA roster within the past 24 hours. Mo Ager is a better ballplayer than him, for the simple fact that he's coordinated.

Trust me, you want no part of Green.

But does Ager blow enough to take out the flame on a cupcake?

i would not mind having green play for us.

lol

Green is a better three point threat than most of our team other than Krstic.

I've seen enough waive Boki or Ager if you have to but bring in Green, he's a better 3 pt shooter and has the balls to dunk on someone

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (razel231 @ Mar 8 2008, 11:29 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>why was he released by his team?</div>

Rockets rookie forward Carl Landry got injured and with Yao already out, they're short of big men. They released Green to sign big man Mike Harris to a 10 day contract. Rumors are Rockets will resign Green when Landry comes back.

to make room for this guy

<div><object width="425" height="350"><param name="movie" value=""></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350" /></embed></object></div>

apparently Justin Williams was signed to a 2nd 10 day contract and Mike Harris has been scouted for awhile by Houston incase Landry gets hurt and right now Landry is hurt.
Gerald is also a FA next season, so there are alot of concerns in weather to commit to a young kid that is raw and needs a teacher.

Only reason to sign him is to make Stro feel better by not being the dumbest player on the team

I'd take him, he gets to the line a lot, and is a solid rebounder for a SF.

WELL... anybody that can shoot better than boki, ager, from beyond the arc can help!

What makes you think he's a better shooter than Boki?

Green's 48 min per game stats since joining the Rockets are:

72ppg, 24 offensive rebounds and 100% shooting from the field.

I can't believe he's been cut by the Rockets, after being traded by the Wolves.

Just last year, he was the Celtics best player not named Pierce (slight exaggeration).

Who said he was? id rather have another scoring threat than a hassel or agger.

Well you did when you answered my question with this.

Green can dunk very well, but he's not the answer we need. The closest we have is Boki, who while being miserable earlier this season, has gradually put it together as of late, putting up double-digit scoring off the bench. I'm not saying he's the answer to our bench-shooting woes, but neither is the FEAR.

green wouldnt hurt... seriously... i mean u never know... he may fit into franks bad system.

Plus he has talent to work with, maybe develop if u are serious enough... also he is young.. he reminds me of what Jr Smith used to be... Now look at him..

Just because he's a similar type of player to someone else doesn't mean he'll turn out like that.
