Saw video of Susan Atkins talking a merciful release so she could die of brain cancer at home. This from a woman who Told Sharon Tate she had no mercy for her (Tate & Baby) while stabbing her to death. Debra Tate ensured that Atkins was not released under victims rights. While I agree with her choice maybe the authorities should have greased the skids on her exit. Read the book Helter Skelter, saw the crime scene photos as well. What the group did to the Tate/La Bianca families was beyond belief. They should have wasted the whole gang.

Once a month as I'm driving to LA and back, I pass, and often fill up at the very gas station, a Chevron where the Manson klan hid a gun in the toilet's tank; from the Tate, La Bianca murders....

When that particular evidence was uncovered, many were stunned, as to whose not used that very bathroom, during the time the gun was still sitting in the tank, for over a year ....
