I'm using google chrome on my new laptop (well, relatively new) and every so often, when I post on here, it acts like I have no connection. Sometimes I lose whole posts, but often I just have to either refresh or go back and try again.

It also does this when I'm opening up new pages (again, only on s2).

Any idea why?

In fact, I just got this message when trying to open up a new thread.

This webpage is not available
Google Chrome could not load the webpage because sportstwo.com took too long to respond. The website may be down, or you may be experiencing issues with your Internet connection.
Here are some suggestions:
Reload this webpage later.
Check your Internet connection. Restart any router, modem, or other network devices you may be using.
Add Google Chrome as a permitted program in your firewall's or antivirus software's settings. If it is already a permitted program, try deleting it from the list of permitted programs and adding it again.
If you use a proxy server, check your proxy settings or contact your network administrator to make sure the proxy server is working. If you don't believe you should be using a proxy server, adjust your proxy settings: Go to the Chrome menu > Settings > Show advanced settings... > Change proxy settings... > LAN Settings and deselect the "Use a proxy server for your LAN" checkbox.
Error 7 (net::ERR_TIMED_OUT): The operation timed out.

Your internet connection. S2 is running like a top.

Running Chrome on a Chromebook....haven't had any issues.

can't be. it ONLY happens on this laptop, and not on my phone (when I use wifi) or my older laptop

We've been trying to infect your computer with a virus so you can't post here anymore.

S2 is running like a top. It's not slow serving pages.

Is s2 slow on another computer at your location?

Let me send you a PM, maybe that'll get you revved up.

Once we realized you're on meth we decided that getting you angry might not be the safest thing to do.

As I said in another post, on my older laptop it's fine. And it's only this laptop.

Might want to reinstall Chrome?

I might try that next. but it's so inconsistent and random, it makes no sense.

Install and run Malwarebytes. The free version is great! I'm not sure if it will fix the problem but you should make sure you don't have anything running in the background that shouldn't be there.

Only this laptop. That pretty much narrows down where the problem is.

I did just encounter a load problem with S2 on Chrome similar to the one you mentioned, julius. After a few moments and a few refreshes it came back.

It happened since the very first time I turned that laptop open. And it has nothing to do with the modem, because it only has issues on this website, and on chrome.

Clear your browser history.

Did you install and run Malwarebytes?

I did that before I mentioned this problem. And I clear my browser history after everytime I close down a browser.

I assure you it's not S2. You are the only one with this complaint. There are literally thousands of people using Chrome to view this site.
