I watch Leno's monologue a fair amount and I've been consistently disappointed with the number of Obama jokes. Is he "in the bag" for Obama? Is Obama just not that funny?

I don't know. There's a comic shorthand for every politician.

McCain is old. There are lots of good old man jokes to make.

Palin is pretty but dumb. Adapt any blond joke.

Biden has hair plugs and is a gas bag. Funny, but who really even notices Biden?

Obama is black. Uh oh. Hmmm. Obama is Jesus? I guess. But do you really want to make fun of Jesus? Let's just not do any jokes about him tonight.

1. It's harder to make fun of Obama because he's black and you have to be sensitive to that issue. McCain is an out of touch, grumpy old man who used his family connections to get to where he is today. Palin is a walking Barbie doll punchline. Seriously, watch [video=youtube;0Y7E235ujJ4]

The only reason I wanted Hillary to be in the white house is so that there'd be four more years of jokes about Bill wandering around the white house with nothing to do but the new intern.
