<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (NetsDaily)</div><div class='quotemain'>Rod Thorn knows he’s dependent on the actions of nine of his colleagues. The draft is that fluid, the talent that bunched. But as Tuesday wore on, one name not previously heard, Indiana sharpshooter Eric Gordon, began to emerge on mock drafts and in conversations. Meanwhile, the Nets reportedly turned down a deal sending #10 to Portland for #13, #33 and Jarrett Jack or Steve Blake.</div>

This draft has got me more excited for the Nets than any draft since we had a chance to pick up Warrick. I can't wait to see who gets picked before us, and who drops to us. Crossing my fingers it's one of Westbrook, Bayless, Gallinari...and not Lopez.

Yuck.

This guy is mentally weak, no real position, cant dribble, dont we have enough turnovers?

If its not SG, Bayless, or Lopez do the Blazer deal

omg i would not be sad about gordon... he will be an instant contributor.... id love for eric gordon to fall to us! now if its brook that falls... freakin trade the pick... to portland... i dont care

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>you can make a strong case (Doug Gottlieb did it for me on ESPN Radio last night) that Gordon was on the Rose/Beasley level heading into college before getting submarined by injuries and a catastrophic coaching debacle.</div>

Bill Simmons from the mock lottery he and Chad Ford did. He'll be healthy next year and Frank is an IU guy so you know he'd love to have Gordon.

Harris and Carter are going to be the ball handlers, so you don't need to worry about his ball handling/turnovers. He's a great outside shooter so it would make losing a guy like Boki a lot easier (should it happen). He'd be instant offense for a team that would often go through dry spells on the offensive side.
