GP2 as 3rd guard

just my two cents. I know many will think this is homer opinion but would love to see us some how get GP2. Perfect compliment to Lillard and McCollum. IMO he will make a better pro than college player and the biggest weakness in his game is his shot but that has been improving. Great defender and super athletic.

Figure he can be had late 1st round. Yes that would require us to get a draft pick.

well since we just hired the ex Sonic announcer and may be lookin to expand more into that market keep that sway goin, he did play for an Oregon school

Can't have all shooters, good to have a defensive specialist. Also his shot is getting better and he'll be a good slasher in NBA

He cant shoot but neither could his daddy at one point.

We dont need everybody the be great shooters. Payton is perfect. We have crabbe, cj and dame who all can shoot already. Payton would be really good next to cj or lillard. Im not convinced that gp2 can handle the ball at the nba level, but cj and dame can. Gp2s defense is elite. We need a guard that has elite defense and dude is gonna be drafted in the 2nd round so we can get him cheap.

I really really hope we draft him in the 2nd.
