Which songs can you not help but like, even though you really shouldn't?

For me, gulp, I'd have to say "Tiny Dancer" by Elton John (go watch the movie "Almost Famous" and tell me you don't sorta want to sing along...

), and also "Fiesta" by Jay-Z and a bunch of other people, LOL.

London Bridge.

Public Affair? It's pretty good.....damn now I have to go listen to it.

I was kid that grew up (age 8-12) when pop was really famous (97-2001 or so) so I guess I'm guilty for knowin most of the pop songs from that era. Infact, some of them are extremely catchy I'll say....I honestly don't care anymore about musical categorization as long as the music appeals to me and regardless of if they wrote thier own songs or not, those songs were still defining peices from my growing up days (defining in terms of music from when I was 8-12). But yeah, whatever...as a kid, all the boys supposedly hated those Backstreet, NSync and 98 degrees songs but in all honestly, there was a sh*t load of guys that used to sing along to them. Nowadays, people start singing Backstreet boys songs and sayin they used to love the stuff as a kid, ironically. By the way, Nsync owns the Backstreetboys

*thread viewers get nervous*

Just playin around.

Anyways, I'd take the pop mainstream scene from then over today's anyday. In fact, since today's mainstream is mostly pop-hop, I would like to say that I would enjoy listening to a record of a pop group from the late 90's then listen to the watered down rap garbage that they have playin now (although you may think pop in itself is watered down, I still find it more enjoyable to listen to then something like...The Whisper Song. Jesus Christ I hate that song). I see no difference except that one group would be singing (definition of "singing" may vary from person to person) over a beat while the other artist either screams or raps over a beat.

Edit:

Also add that I think Justin Timberlake's solo sh*t is nice as hell. I've only heard his first album but I thought it was great. None of the songs were pop...in fact it was all R&B songs. I don't know why I'm even mentioning this in here cause that's an album I would never feel guilty about. Justified was an enjoyable album.

Dance Dance by Fall Out Boy...

I'm just waiting to be pelted by stones.

Destiny Childs from thier old school days. Damn those ladies are bootylicious

(well, only two of them).

(Except this one)

Dude, you can't deny that's an awesome beat/tune.

London Bridge for now

Also, most boy bands stuff... like beyond Backstreet Boys and N'Sync. I like Westlife, 98 Degrees, BB Mak, all that stuff. I don't listen to it all the time but it doesn't bother me at all.

I'm Fergie Ferg and me love you long time!

As long as she ain't pissin her pants, she can love me long time.

Stick a paper bag over her face and I got no problem with her.

Damn you! I had managed to mentally block that pic, now every time I see that video I'm gonna remember it instead of thinking how hot she is!

^ Why would be ashamed of that.

Also, I think some of 98 Degrees' music was really nice. There's a song by them called "Una Noche" or something along those lines, it's a great song.

Well it's not really a guilty pleasure cuz I got no problem with ppl knowing this. But since he was part of one of the biggest boy bands during boy bands reign. Justin Timberlake, Especially the other two songs realeased a day a part from each other before his album came out. My love feat. TI and Chop up feat. Timbaland and 3/6 Mafia.

I have to admit that it's a hot song. I have it on my mp3 player and I really not embarrased at all. I find it to br a good song.

I don't see why anyone would be ashamed of Justin's singing or songs. His post NSync stuff is really nice...I've only heard Sexy Back and My Love off the new album, and I like both of them. His Justified album is great too.

Thought I'd bring this thread back cuz I've been listening to Jojo - A Little Too Late, and man, I'm ashamed to admit that I actually love this song....

About Justin, personally, I'm not even ashamed to admit I like his style. I was a fan of his Justified album (Like I Love You and Rock your Body are nice songs imo).... however, Sexyback is kind of a disappointment though. Not feeling that song one bit.

Oh and I'm with you guys on London Bridge... Hated it at first, now I find myself singing to it when it's playing on the radio.

I got Justin's 2nd album too (downloaded of course)...I don't like the fact that most of the songs are half song interludes but it's a good album as well. A lot more energetic then the first album but I don't know if it's better. I didn't like SexyBack at first but now I love it, it's stuck in my head. My Love, Summer Love and What Goes Around are all great songs.

Buttons by the Pussycat Dolls. .

Good God that's a catchy song.

My Love= Best song on the album ... I've been listening to that for like a month now.

I didn't like sexy back either at first, but then i grew to like it. You should download the Papoose remix of it.

Chop Me Up (more of a hip hop song with Three 6 Mafia) and Losing My Way are also great songs on the album. Losing my way reminds me of R. Kelly's "I Wish" with the people choir (or whatever it is) singing at the and.

I didn't like JT at all back in the NSync days (my lady friends wore them out. It was nothin' but Justin back then.) Now, I must say, he's not all that bad. I have both of his solo albums, honestly, I like his 2nd album better than his first one. Best song on it is Chop Me Up, IMO. That song is tight. I also like My Love, the radio is starting to play it out. I liked SexyBack when I first heard it, now the radio is just constantly playing it. I'm starting to get sick of it.
