I wonder how pissed Time Warner is they are locked into a 20 year $3 billion TV contract? If that team goes through a multi-year Knicks style slump as they appear on the path to do I think a lot of fans will jump onto another bandwagon. Lakers fans arrive late, leave early, don't cheer and expect a contender. They'll keep going to that building but they'll be watching Clippers games instead.

If they're replacing the @Chicago game, it wouldnt be the late game. That'd be a 930PM start for Chicago. The Portland/Houston game is the Earlier game, since Indiana is playing @ Golden State.

I have mixed feelings. I love seeing the L@kers get bumped, but now I have to wait to watch the game after as it will be delayed on League Pass.

The problem for me with most league pass games is the quality of the HD picture. TNT on the other hand is awesome.
Oh and since it is against Houston i will be assured not to have to listen to Clyde (Sorry Clyde-love you as a player but........)
