32 games left, and we have 18 wins.... thoughts?

If we were the spurs, I would say it's very possible. I think we go 60% the rest of the way. So I'm thinking 18-19 games. Is that close enough?

I dont think we will. But I think its possible, if we can get back to playing the way we did when the season started.

Is there something magical about getting to 38 wins? If so, then I don't think it will happen. I'd say about 18 more wins, but that should be good enough for a lower tier playoff berth.

With the roster we have right now? I dunno, maybe. If Nic gets 35+ minutes a night, if Felton stops playing like a D-League reject, if everybody stays healthy ... We'll see.

Depends on the roster and the way Nate plays them. As it stands right now, I say it's doubtful, but close. More than enough to get them into the lower half of the playoffs so they can get their asses handed to them in the first round. Then draft another Luke Babbitt or Euro with the 16th or 18th pick

E. Will was a good pick up. He maybe another diamond in the rough like Batum. I'm crossing my fingers

He, like Batum were both lottery guys that fell because of injury risk/report/actual injury

Brock, didn't The HCP say 36 wins? Respect the mad amounts of knowledge that flows from his fingers!

In this kind of season, I don't think the record will be indicative of playoff success. Blazers need to get on a hot streak entering into the playoffs . . .

Agreed, and furthermore we can win on the road if our offense can match up to our stellar defense.

My thinking is probably not. Failton & Crawful are game killers, pure and simple. They find ways to lose a game. If just one of them was doing so I think we'd make it. But not with two game killers. I think that's a hurdle we cannot overcome.

That said, if we stay healthy and Nic continues to be productive it's a remote possibility.

But my vote is 'no'.

That and the unfortunate situation that those two players play the two positions that bring the ball up and initiate the offense.

We have 15 more home games and 17 more road matchups. Winning 13 of 15 at home, then going 7-10 on the road is a huge stretch.

I actually kinda want to get enough wins to score the 8th seed and play OKC in the first round. We always play insanely well and even if (which most likely would happen) we lose in the first round it will really show if what we have in Ewill/Felton/Smith

That would be a lot of fun.

Since starting the season 7-2, the Blazers have gone 11-14. If they keep playing at their current level - that puts them at about 14-18 the rest of the way.

Now that we have the Vanilla Gorilla, we get enough wins to be 32-0!
