Excited to see him back in goal. Hopefully he isn't too rusty. Figure 9 games left, maybe he can play 6 to get ready for the playoffs.

Give Talbot big props though. He was awesome with Hank out. Totally proved me wrong after his early struggles.

Cam Talbot, scheduled to start Sunday afternoon’s Garden match against the Capitals, went 16-4-3 with a 2.16 GAA and .929 save percentage as the interim No. 1.

Today is exactly 8 weeks since Hank took the shot, and 54 days since his last start. Crazy we were 18-4-3 without him.

They also started playing much better team defense in front of Cam after his early struggles.

That's the worst allowed goal I've ever seen.

please, that was one of the biggest shit calls against the rangers I've ever seen. Seems like Gary wants the bruins in the playoffs.

Need to stop going to Toronto for the review. Referees make the call, they should have to look at the tape.

I used to think it was a good idea to have somebody else make the call, not anymore.

Hank just shook his head and was like whatever. Not going to break the remote over it. Just a stupid call especially when it was called no goal on the ice.

Hopefully they don't verse the Bruins in the first round because I could see them totally pissing their pants against them

Rangers aren't going full bore, and it would be stupid if they did. They need to stay healthy. As far as the Bruins go, from here on out, this is a playoff game. Let them go all out, be tired and perhaps risk injury when the real season begins.

Having said that, they still need to play smart

Hunwick don't worry. Klein will be taking your place shortly.

Why do you guys keep saying that? Why do u think they are playing passive because they are afraid of getting hurt?

They're aren't going easy on teams they are just sucking.

I don't care what place you're in if a team is elevating their game you have to elevate yours. It's not an excuse One team is fighting for the playoffs and the other isn't.

It's human nature. You have a team that has clinched going on the road to play a highly motivated team.
He sucks against the Bruins in Boston Messiah. Just like in MTL

He needs to play games and get the rust off. Who the fuck cares.

Right Messiah you're in their dressing room and you know everything they do. Human nature? that doesn't even make sense. They have a playoff spot clinched that's it, no home ice

Yeah lets hold Hank out of games as long as possible. You're just brilliant. Another one who just needs something to complain about.

The score is 3-0 so we should've started Hank against the Caps. About the dumbest thing I've ever read.

The Rangers played like a pile of crap that period, couldn't agree more. They simply didn't show up, couldn't agree more. None of that really surprises me.

What does surprise me is the reaction in here. I know in fantasy world the Rangers should be as up for these games as the Kings and Bruins who are battling for their playoff lives...but reality is that will not happen game in and game out these last 10 or so games...it just won't. So if the reaction is to get all worked up after a lackluster effort get ready for that to happen a handful of more times the next 2 weeks.

Fact is the Met is 98% done. Fact is we have home ice in rounds 1 and 2. Fact is we have been an awesome road team, so if we play the Habs in the ECF or the Blues or Preds in the SCF and don't have home ice, so be it. I wouldn't sweat it at all.

We are not going to get optimal effort game in and game out for the next 2 weeks, and when we play teams desperate for points we may have a stinker. That's just reality guys whether you want to accept it or not. I am not upset about it, just the way it is.

You just saw it again there. 2 on 1 Boston as Talbot flies down the middle and no one on the Rangers is flying back. Again, Bruins want (and need) it MUCH more.

You know damn well Hank needs to get in games at this point to get the rust off before the playoffs. Your comment was completely idiotic so just get over it and move on.
