Does anyone remember when MLB played double-headers
on this day as they also did on Memorial Day. Now due to
the 17 day rule(?) teams MUST have an off day(contractual).
Only a few teams play on this Monday.
Pretty soon, I would not be surprised that all teams will
have this day off.
Well, I'm kickin back with my barbecue chicken and an ice cold
tap beer. Enjoy.

Yep, Double dippers on Memorial Day, 4th of July, and Labor Day, and most of the time when LD Dippers were over the first place team was usually the League Champ. Would like to see MLB revert to the East West Formats, second place should be no place. All teams have 162 opportunities to make first place. Screw Bud Light and his "Wild Card Bullshit.
