Gus Gilchrist scored 11 points and pulled down 17 rebounds in his first career start to help the Iowa Energy roll past the Reno Bighorns 122-100 Saturday night.

Paul Harris added 22 points and 11 rebound for the Energy, who blew open a tight game with a 40-25 advantage in the 3rd quarter before cruising to the easy victory.

Seven Energy players finished in double figures as Othyus Jeffers (10 points), Justin Hurrt (15), Chris Wright (17), Alex Ruoff (17) and Robert Hite (15) all joined Gilchrist and Harris with big nights.

Iowa forced 22 Reno turnover while only committing 11 of their own. Despite missing center Jarrid Famous, the undersized Iowa club won the rebounding battle 42-36.

The Energy host Tulsa Thursday, April 4th at 7pm. For tickets, visit www.IowaNBA.com, call 564-8550 or stop by the arena box office.
