In an interview with the Nets’ website, Devin Harris says all the right things: that the new Nets are going to be fine–he particularly likes the Eduardo Najera signing; the Nets “did a great job with the draft…addressing needs”; and he expects to play more of a leadership role than he did in Dallas. He also likes the new offense, hinting it’s tuned toward giving him open driving lanes.

Devin Harris Interview - - New Jersey Nets

Did he ever get to play with Najera in Dallas?

Anyways, I'm intrigued by the new offense. Are we going to stretch the floor some more?

We know Vince, Bobby, and Yi all have some range on their shots. They'll probably be the starters.

And off the bench, Dooling has a good midrange, while Hayes, Najera, and Anderson can definitely stretch the defense.

Wow, I'm excited...finally some players who can actually shoot the ball.

I only issue is who will handle the ball. Harris needs to improve his PG and passing skills. If VC is going to be walking the ball up, this is going to be a detriment to Harris developing these skills.

Well any offense with legit shooters will have driving lanes/slashing lanes/passing lanes. With his quickness, jump shot, and finishing ability, Frank had better use those skills. Plus I think you can allow both VC and Devin to mix and match dependent on matchups. Both are great off the dribble, both can hit a 20 footer
