Oh my god they just ruined that paper. It's like the National Enquirer now. So small. Only one section.

I haven't subscribed in years but it's sad to see it first switch over to 4 days a week and now this.

When did this happen? We got ours Wednesday and it seemed normal

It sucks and yet I still subscribe.

The day I cancel my subscription is the day Oregonian is really in trouble as I have stuck through think and thin with the Oregonian and all their crazy changes. This last one almost pushes me over the edge . . .

Is it even smaller than the Willamette Week?

They ruined it? No, the lack of subscriptions ruined it.

The paper's editors and owners have refused for years to get rid of Canzano. Ergo the people's revenge.

Saw it at work the other day. 12 pages? I remember when each section had almost that much.

So you mean the internet ruined it? Because this is happening all over the country. People don't want to pay to read yesterday's news when they can access what's going on in real time on the web.

The nice thing about a failing paper is there are fewer ads to wade through.

I like the smaller format from what I saw on teh INSTAGRAMZ

I quit reading that Marxists fish wrap long before the internet.

The O is making a big deal about being the first paper to do this with the staples throughout? I thought the NY Post is stapled too?

I'm surprised people still subscribe to the Oregonian. You can get it all off the internet now.

Yep. The younger generation won't even bother with paper. They'll read it if it's on the internet.

We're witnessing the slow death of the Oregonian.
