I think it is interesting how popular Gerald has become among Blazer fans in his short time here. He has probably become my favorite player already, due to his intensity, toughness, athleticism and skill.

I was thinking he has probably moved pretty high on the most popular current player list.
 
2nd on my list, but I'm a loyal Batum guy.

Nic was my first but G.Wallace has replaced him - Nic is a very close second now.
 
Batum. I've liked him since the first home game in 08 vs. San Antonio.
 
I bet at this point last season it would have been Camby!
 
I voted Nico out of loyalty. But yeah, G3 is the man.
 
I'm still very much in the honeymoon phase of the Gerald Wallace acquisition.
 
I think it's the newness factor for Gerald. We've seen it before with Rudy, Damon, and Derek Anderson. Of course, we've seen it come crashing down later on but I'm not saying that will happen with Gerald.
 
Of our healthy ones - it's Nico for me. That kid in the open floor is poetry in motion. I still think the world of Roy and hope Oden can come back strong - but I really appreciate Gerald Wallace as well. His handles are a lot better than I expected!

I think it's more about Fairweather Fans. Wallace has been a nice addition, regardless.

Definitely worth a poll though. I'm sure there was a similar one about Camby last season. Ah, I remember the day when the Fairweather Fans were chanting "MAR-cus CAM-by" at the RG late last season. Has LMA ever received such high praise?

LMA was already locked in long-term. Marcus was a free agent at that time. I think fans wanted to make him feel welcome.
 
I'd vote for Oden if it was an option. As disappointing as he has been he is the only player on this roster with a chance of being a superstar.

I voted for Crash, he is exciting to watch and can contribute without having the ball or plays ran for him. I believe he is getting some extra love for being the new guy so it'll be interesting too see what everyone thinks in a year or two.
 
Had to go with Wallace. Its not that I have lost any respect for the rest of the team, it is rather what he brings in attitude that the others have began to developed. With a guy like him, its hard to see other teams calling us soft. Just like OKC getting Perkins and they go from "a no defense" team to a real threat.
 
I just voted for Miller because of that interview he did with Canzano. Dre ripped the Bald One a few times. Great stuff!
 
Wallace is easily our best player right now. He is playing at the level he played last year when he was an All Star and first team All Defense. No one on our team is playing at that level on either end of the court.

I put Patty as my favorite player, though, for what he has done for chemistry on the team.

Derek, Damon, and Rudy never played at this high of a level.
 
How exactly does the Garden chanting Mar-Cus Cam-By make them fairweather fans?

ya LMA is my favorite player but as of right now G Unit; G3, G-Wall, and Crash are as exciting as it gets
