I feel like checking out a new Portland restaurant, I love Thai food, and this place seemed worthy. I couldn't find a website for it, though, and was wondering if any of you have eaten there.

Thanks!

bahn tai like at PSU? if that's the one, it's one of the best downtown

Yep, that one. I've heard that it's on the 2nd floor of an old Victorian home. :dunno:

Try the dog- if fresh rat is not available. I hate Thai food.

That's why you're a loner, son.

Edit: OK, OK, you do have me as your best friend......so, at least you have something right going for you. ;)

Maybe so, but at least my breath doesn't smell like dead dog.

You ate it live, huh? I've seen that done with sushi, but never with dog. Must be messy.

Yeah, it is. Broadway Coffee (which is really good) is on the street, and there are little stairs going up to the right up to an old house and that's Bahn-Thai.

A word of caution: "Medium" spicy there is damn near unbearable. I normally get "spicy" in Beaverton (Zab Thai and Thai Apsara mainly) without too much sweating. Oh, and if you're in Beaverton, go to Thai Apsara, which is the best Thai food around.
