Help save Windows XP

I haven't had a single problem with Vista. I love it. And I've had it since last February.

I've thought about switching my current computer to XP. My cousin's laptop, which is about on par with mine, is much much faster. I'm not sure why I shouldn't try it, other than that the actual switching will be a hassle.

I haven't had problems with Vista either, although it takes like 6 minutes to boot up on a pretty new laptop. It installed the printer on its own lol, and was pretty easy to set up my router on.

Although my Windows ME on a 5 year old computer boots up in like 1 min 15 seconds. The bad thing with Windows ME is that you can't get the newest version of Internet Explorer on it.

Obviously 2-3 years down the road, everything will be designed primarily for Vista.

This computer is nice, and it runs Vista just fine.

My old computer runs XP, and there's no way in hell I'd ever put Vista on it.

I bought a new laptop and replaced Vista with XP. It worked fine, but I didn't see the point in wasting so much energy on little frills.

Vista boots up in almost exactly a minute for me on my laptop.

My laptop came with Vista and it runs fine but the main PC has been Upgraded and that is Ridiculously slow.

You probably have a new PC that came with Vista.

I can't afford a new computer and if I install Vista on my current PC I'm pretty sure it will slow down.

Either way, Microsoft is forcing everyone to upgrade to Vista and that's not fair.

No, no they aren't. What they are forcing is for new machines to come with Vista.

m$ can't force you to upgrade your working computer. Why exactly do you have that opinion?
