HELP with AIM

Okay, I have a problem here. I logged onto AIM this morning and all the screen names on my buddy list were missing, my WHOLE buddy list was wiped out! I had around 200-300 contacts on there. No one knows my password. I'm totally clueless as to how this happened, everything was working fine yesterday, just today this morning when I logged on, they were all gone and I'm freaking out right now. If this has happened to anyone or if anyone has any idea on how to fix this please, please speak up!

I highly doubt it, my password isn't easy and I havn't told it to anyone.

very good hackers could still probaly get in it, but maybe aim is just messed up today or something, so try tomarrow and if it's still the same then i guess your in trouble

Well i'm sure if they are good friends most of them will AIM you back at some point.

That happens to me sometimes as well, but the problem was usually something involving the AIM server and not being able to retrieve my buddy list. Usually when that happens a little AIM message thing pops up and says that, so if that happened to you then you should have gotten a little message explaining the issue. If not, then I guess you got hacked... unfortunately.

for the future you should save your aim list, all you have to do is save it on your computer

When I logged on this morning at first it wouldn't sign on and this message popped up saying some error blah blah blah, stupid me though didn't feel like reading the rest. So then I just tried re-signing on and that's when I saw it was all gone. Also though, I think I've lossed my buddy list before, but it only took a few minutes to get back up, that may be the same thing that happened to you, if so thats probably not the problem here, because mine still isn't working. Also, I checked my old screen name which is linked and it's all intact (it only has a small amount of my buddy list though so it doesn't help).And Dmoney, I never expected anything like this to happen, if not I definitely would have saved it, but for the future your right, it's a must do.

I don't expect stuff to happens either but sometimes you have to expect the worse and be prepared for situations even if there as minor as this
