Obi Toppin. I realize that his defense is suspect, he over-commits on the perimeter, he is extremely athletic but looks like he lacks lateral quickness but I think it's a lack of defensive awareness and understanding, he is constantly out of position, and he doesn't show effort consistently. That being said, he is extremely explosive athletically, he has the tools to be an effective defender at PF even against stretch 4s and in the pick and roll/pop action. He has shown really good low post defense, good against guys posting up, good as a strong side and weak side shot blocker and an effective rebounder. The fact is his defense won't keep him out of starting lineups because his offense is so special. He can shoot the three really well, he is great getting to the hoop, he finishes strong, he moves off the ball, he has a great first step to get by defenders... he's just really good on offense and that's why I think he is the least risky pick. His defense could get better but his offense isn't going to get worse. You know what this guy's floor is and it's high because he will be able to contribute meaningfully.
