Highlights!

Wow. Greg looked awesome. It's exciting to see him scoring in different ways and not just cleaning up garbage around the rim. He looks quick out there.

Miller looks a good 15 lbs overweight.

I'm sure there are still people who won't believe it, but he was very impressive tonight.

Oden with the jumper.

That was the best part of the highlight video. Wow, I'm impressed. I hope he can do this in a meaningful game, though.

Oh, my. If Oden can develop a consistent jumper, he's going to be a force.

So I didn't see the game, hear the game, do anything but read the box score. Couple things jump out.

1. Greg had 18 points on 7 shots. 10-12 from the line will do that, I guess. I keep trying to remind folks that, when he was on the floor last year, he drew fouls like mad. If he's able to shoot 80% or higher, 18ppg a game is not out of the question. I can't think of 5 players in the NBA who can stop him.
2. Miller also scored efficiently: 16 pts on 5-6FG, 6-7FT. Was it really that easy for him?
3. As predicted, Blake, Batum and Przy started. They also combined for only 48 min. Udoka had more minutes than Nic. Did someone get injured, or are they just taking a hard look at Ime?

I heart GO!

10 for 12 at the FT line. LOVE IT!

Holy crap. That was a nice looking jumper. I'm amazed how much better he looked.

Miller definitely looked a little heavier than I'm used to seeing him. But I'm not that worried. This isn't the kind of team that you can plan on staying out of shape on for very long. He should be able to play himself into shape.

GO looks totally different on the offensive end. Very fluid with his movements. 15ppg VERY possible this season.

BTW, talked to two people who were at the game and both raved about how great Andre looked.

OMG delicious. Oden looked freaking incredible. I'm trying not to go into "berserk over stoked moon-high expectation mode" but it's damn fucking hard when Oden is tearing it up like that. I can't wait for this season to start and Oden to play against meaningul competition. Watching these highlights Greg looked like a young Ewing out there on offense...only faster and more athletic!

:smiley-drool:

Edit: I forgot to add if this is the kind of performances we can expect from Greg and Andre...look out league.

Great videos!!! I love it. The team is looking really good. Our Oden has arrived!

Thanks to "broyposse" for the video:

Man that video is so sweeeeet. Oden looks very polished. Didn't get to see the game, I wish I had, but it's still VERY encouraging. This isn't the same Oden that would set up shop in the paint and just back in until he either dunked or threw up some weird hook. Looks MUCH improved.

Where are the Sergio highlights? He was the best player on the floor last night ...

The greatness of Sergio's play is such that one would be blinded if it were to be viewed head-on. We mere mortals can only handle a brief glance at its passing glory.

Most people on the internet have it in for Sergio, which is why the video remains hidden. When the truth comes out, you'll all be sorry.

I think it's the way Nate coaches the internet service providers. If we had another coach for them - the true glory would be revealed for all to enjoy.

If Nate coached the internet, there would be no such thing as high speed internet.

Based on what I saw in last night's game, and I said this to my buddy during the game, Oden could average 15 pts per game in his friggin' sleep. With a solid FT stroke and garbage hoops he'll get 15 a night. Add a hook shot here, and a hook shot there.....and sprinkle in one face up jumper a game, and Oden will be beyond 15. I think he'll average MORE than 15 this season. Easy.

If we play the Kings all 82 games of the season.
