Enough hitting the post already.

Enough faceoff losses and failure to move people out of the front of the net...horrible 1st goal

Cam was also a little soft with that rebound. That's the one issue I see with Cam, his rebound control isn't the best.

Played better as the period went on, now we need to score a goal. 0 goals the last 4 periods, and 1 empty net goal the past 6 periods.

Looks like the old Rangers...:).

That's game. My lord that was pathetic. The D backed off Krug big time and yet there was STILL a guy all alone in front...wow. How do you go from looking so good to looking awful now for 2 straight games. That was real sad.

Just forget it. Nash a breakaway miss now. Too many chances wasted

Two months ago I watched this team come back from down 3-0 in the third after looking straight up dreadful the first 40 minutes, yet here we are with the savants declaring the game over at the halfway mark down 2.

Oh yeah I think this one game is over Prod. I don't see this team scoring 3 goals tonight. Sure I can be wrong, but I think the %'s are high we aren't scoring 3 tonight. Bad matchup tonight against a hot team with no Stepan and our backup goalie in.

Nothing big about the season, but yeah I think this one game is over.

With that said, you want to get back in the game with a chance to win, score on this PP.

Far too many good chances blown. Now a double minor to kill. It will be five periods without a goal.

Boyle has to start getting more point shots, and it would be nice to see McD step up offensively. He's been just average this year.

They have had their chances. Just not going in. Nash needed to hit the corner on the breakaway.

Watch their body language after they keep hitting posts.
Nuff said.

McD has not been just average this year. The guy is a +12 into tonight, and would be on pace for about 40 points over 82 games. I think I would have wanted more like 45-50 or so points from him, but he has not been average. Come on now.

You are funny sc. You like who you like, and if you don't you will nitpick them.

I like McDonagh, alot, but i don't see him making enough of a difference this year.

I don't think he has been a stud outside of that stretch around the Holiday's, but no way has he been average. He has still been very good, just not great game in and game out.

BTW...outside of the first 6 minutes or so, and one awful play on the Bruins 2nd goal, I think the Rangers have actually played okay. They simply have not been able to score and cash in on their chances.

Another breakdown in their own zone. Tomorrow night is a real big game. Don't want to come off of 13 wins in 14 games and drop 3 straight, and then have to play in Pitt with a quick turnaround to Sunday at 12:30. Could be 4 straight L's before you know it.

And we need Stepan back. We simply cannot afford to lose anyone in the top 6 with the lack of depth we have upfront.

If we don't score tonight it will be 6 straight periods with no goals and no goals against a goalie for 8 straight periods.

This coach is awful at making adjustments as soon as there is some issue like an injury or the team just looks dead. Does the guy ever raise his voice on the bench?

I don't think that has a thing to do with it Step. We have no forward depth. At 100% we need a forward. Without one of the top 6 forwards, good luck. We have no depth to score if we lose anyone and the first two lines aren't on their game.

Not sure what you expect AV to do in situations like this. Paging Mr. Sather...

We also need to keep in mind, and you know I like Hayes a lot, but the dude has 5 goals in 38 games...5. That is not good enough for a 3rd line guy. Double so when another normal 3rd line guy, Fast, has 3 goals. Even Hags only has 8 goals. That is just not near good enough for a 3rd line.

I am a broken record now, but I have said it since game 1...WE NEED ANOTHER TOP 9 FORWARD...PERIOD.

We know we need another top 9 forward. Thanks for stating this over and over. I like AV a lot and think he has done a great job at fixing the offense but it is also responsibility of the coaching stuff to get your team ready. Since he has taken over, the bruins have owned the rangers. He has not made any adjustments.

I dont care about stepan injury. Call up lindberg and keep that bum glass out of the lineup but what does av do? He inserts him back into the lineup. Easy way out.

Call up Lindberg, who has never played an NHL in his life, for the 1 or 2 games Step is out...that's the answer? That is a reach Step. The answer is get another top 9 forward, not kill the coach when his options are limited at best.

And now we are basing it off our record against the Bruins last season and one game this season? I think you are off here Step...tonight is not about AV IMO. We just didn't have the horses upfront. Not his fault. Lindberg is not the magic bullet, and that would need Sather to make the move, not AV.

BTW...I am with you that the last two games were really difficult to watch. Not good. Need to right the ship tomorrow night for sure.
