Hockey Teams

Well I know we might never see hockey again, but hey the stoppage of hockey led me to watch more of basketball, well the least to say my fav team is the NYR and yes they are all overpaid and yes i dont care

hockey? whats hockey?........ but seriously I root for the NJ Devils but haven't watched a game in years. (yes I did watch a hockey game, ONCE)

Well, hockey was the first sport I was interested in. The Red Wings were my favorite team with Yzerman, Shanahan, McCarty, Draper, Federov, Lidstrom and Osgood. Yup, those were the days.

I'm a hockey buff myself. My family comes from Hockey, as both my dad and all my uncles played big time college hockey (one of my uncles even played in offseason leagues and preseason with Philly a few times) and my grandfather played on the Bruins waaaaay back when. I'm personally a Redwings fan though, and I grew up (well, not exactly grew up, but was growing up) during their dynasty, so hockey was even easier for me to enjoy. Although, living in Memphis my interest has shifted to basketball basically because there's no rinks, no ice, no NHL team, and nobody plays hockey. Trying to like hockey in Memphis is like trying to like basketball in Siberia.
