Silver Stars coach Sandy Brondello had planned on taking things slowly, carefully integrating her team's new acquisition into the fold.
Chamique Holdsclaw would play a few minutes here and there, Brondello figured, until she felt comfortable with the playbook and her conditioning.

So much for those plans.

By the time Saturday's 88-81 victory against the Los Angeles Sparks had concluded, Holdsclaw had played 30 minutes and tallied 19 points and five assists, both team highs.
