Trey Johnson scored a game-high 29 points as the Bakersfield Jam (22-14) defeated the Idaho Stampede (15-21) 107-100 at Qwest Arena on Saturday night. The Jam shot 54.1 percent from the floor in the second half as they overcame a cold first half to split the weekend series.

Johnson made 5-of-9 shots to score 12 points in the third quarter alone to give the Jam an 84-73 advantage. Starters Luke Zeller (15 points), Stephen Dennis (14 points, seven assists) and Derrick Byars (12 points) aided the win. Jeremy Wise finished with 11 points, seven assists and Drew Naymick with 9 points, 16 rebounds off the bench.

Antoine Walker led Idaho with 23 points on 9-of-12 shooting (5-7 3FG). Jermareo Davidson had his 12th double-double of the season with 11 points and 11 rebounds. Sean Banks added 15 off the bench and DeSean Hadley scored 12 points. Idaho committed 20 turnovers and made just 27-of-40 (67.5 percent) free throws on the game.
