The economy is so bad ... that I got a pre-declined credit card in the mail.
... I ordered a burger at McDonalds and the kid behind the counter asked, "Can you afford fries with that?"
... that CEO's are now playing miniature golf.
... if the bank returns your check marked "Insufficient Funds," you call them and ask if they meant you or them.
... Hot Wheels and Matchbox stocks are trading higher than GM.
... McDonalds is selling the 1/4 ouncer.
... parents in Beverly Hills fired their nannies and learned their children's names.
... a truckload of Americans was caught sneaking into Mexico .
... Dick Cheney took his stockbroker hunting.
... people in Africa are donating money to Americans.
... Motel Six won't leave the lights on anymore.
... the Mafia is laying off judges.
... Exxon-Mobil laid off 25 Congressmen.

The economy is so bad, it makes the OSU Beavers look competent.

The economy is so bad Arby's instituted a 5 for YOUR SPARE CHANGE pricing policy (for a limited time only at participating Arby's)

The economy is so bad that GM salespeople will give you 10 percent off if you give them a ride to work for 2 months.

The economy is so bad that the Burger King by my house tore out the drive through and replaced it with a bus stop.

The economy is so bad that Olive Garden has all you can eat Top Ramen.

The economy is so bad that Walmart sells soap to wash your kitty litter.

The economy is so bad 24 hour fitness changed its name to Noon to 4pm fitness.

It is so bad nobody read my economy jokes. I thought the Arby's one was pretty good. :sigh:

Might have been, but I didn't get it. Possibly because I haven't seen any Arby's commercials or been in an Arby's.

But that reminds me. One time 30-ish years ago I was in your town for some reason and I went into a fast food joint (don't think it was Arby's, but it could have been) and I was the only customer in the place, and there were 20+ people behind the counter waiting to take my order. They were presumably doing training, but it was a little intimidating, having so many people interested in what I was ordering.

I have come across "24 hour fitness" that are not open 24 hours. It is ridiculous.

Is it any worse than 7-11 stores that aren't open from 7 to 11?
