Politics How Donald Trump & Hillary Clinton Have Made the Libertarian Party Relevant

Probably they did have some influence, yes. As did many other things. But if you want voters to be uninfluenced, you are going to have to keep them in the dark about everything.

And if you do that, so they are really uninformed and ignorant, then they'll be Republican voters.

Well according to Hillary the people voting for Sanders are ignorant, uninformed, and don't do their own research.
Super delegates shouldn't exist anymore, she had over half before anyone was allowed to vote.
Which from the start meant the media said. "Hillary's lead is insurmountable."
Some of them aren't following the people in their state they were elected to represent. They should in a Democracy follow the will of the people they represent in their state. They have their own personal vote to cast for the candidate of their choice.
One can only assume they believe anyone not falling in line is ignorant and uninformed.

BTW isn't the state count now 15 - Sanders, 14 - Hillary?

Democracy doesn't mean much to the two main parties.

I think Sanders could have more delegates and lose.

Technically, no. If he loses, he will by definition have fewer delegates, since it is a vote of delegates that chooses the winner.
And realistically, no. He's not going to have more delegates in any real sense, unless you think his delegates should count double or something.

Sanders has won 8 of the last 9 primaries/caucuses. Hiliar isn't winning anything lately. In Wyoming, Sanders beat her 56% to 44%, yet they split the 14 delegates - 7 apiece. That's democratic?

What part of math do you not get?

The rules are the rules, and were set out in advance, and Bernie's campaign presumably knows them, or should.

I think your protests on Bernie's behalf are a lot like Trump's protests of "I was ignorant of the rules, so it's unfair!"

In Trump's case, he's been wanting to run for president for 20 years or more, so he had plenty of time to study up on the rules.

The media said right from the start that Jeb! had so much money that he couldn't possibly lose.

No, it's something more like Hillary 20, Bernie 17. Depending on what you count as a state, of course. If you throw out things that aren't actually states, it's Hillary 18, Bernie 16.

You think wrong. SMH.

For the nominations and presidential election, I want the voters' will to be executed. Not the parties' will. You defend the parties, SMH.

To be fair, Hillary has shitloads more votes than Bernie so far right? I mean, as much as it embarrasses the rest of the country, the deep south is still in America.

Unfortunately. Maybe they can secede again.

Hmmm... So you're saying we should build the wall but not along the US/Mexico border.

Barfo, are you a Hillary supporter? Or do you just play one on the internet.

I support both Hillary and Bernie.

It happens that Hillary is going to be the nominee, and Bernie isn't. That's just reality, unless Denny's little fantasies come true.

Sure, but no one cares what you want, Denny. Or what I want. So why not discuss reality instead of fantasy?

Bernie has had ~0% chance since he tanked in Ohio and Florida, but Hillary is in practicality more closely aligned with the right than the far left. I see her making a lot of progressive promises she has no intention of seeing through. I assume this is obvious.

I see supporting her as the eventual nominee against the insane religious racist party, but during the primary? Blech.

You are probably a moderate. And that is fine, she is a fantastic candidate for you, but if so, turn in your "commie pinko" card. Commie pinkos vote for Bernie.

I agree. I'm very disappointed. Turn in your Commie Pinko card immediately, Barfo, and hand over your cherry-red shorts, suspenders, and jersey.

Hillary talks like a Republican warmonger when Bernie's not around. Watch her speak on international matters when she's not at a debate. Near Bernie, she's painfully biting her tongue, holding back what she wants to say. She looks like she has a headache when she debates.

Which explains a lot about Bill.

You are, of course, correct. I am a moderate. (I do like Bernie, though - I would enthusiastically support him if he were the nominee).

It's only on S2 that I'm perceived as a commie.

Putin wipes his ass with Obama (toilet paper).

No. Putin is a jetsetting plutocrat. That toilet is in Siberia, where he would never deign to go. Sad self-undermining Putin brown-nosers wipe their asses on that toilet paper.

http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2016-04-13/2016-year-americans-found-out-their-elections-are-rigged

The 2016 election has been a wild ride, with two insurgent grassroots campaigns literally giving the political establishment a run for its money. But as the events of this presidential primary season play out, it’s becoming clear the U.S. election — and even more so, the presidential race — is a big scam being perpetrated on the American people.

Events from the last week have exposed the system as an illusion of choice and a farce. They have reinforced at least one study showing the U.S. is an oligarchyrather than a democratic republic.

The Wyoming democratic caucus took place on Saturday, purportedly to allow voters to have their voices heard in the race between Bernie Sanders and Hillary Clinton. Sanders lost the Wyoming caucus by winning it with a 12 percent margin.

Wait, what?

How does one lose by winning 56 percent of the votes? This happens when the political process is, according to the New York Post, “rigged” by superdelegates. The Post summed up this “strange” phenomenon:

“Under the Democratic Party’s oddball delegate system, Sanders’ winning streak — he has won seven out of the past eight contests — counts for little.

“In fact, despite his win, he splits Wyoming’s 14 pledged delegates 7 to 7 under the caucus calculus.

“Clinton, meanwhile, also gets the state’s four superdelegates — who had already pledged their allegiance to her in January. So despite ‘losing,’ she triumphs 11-7 in the delegate tally.”

Lyndon Johnson said, if I have lost Walter Cronkite, I have lost the country. Intelligence agencies say, how can we run the country if we lose Denny?

Denny, I have hope for you. Now, try LSD, and you will be as cool as me. You are absolutely right. The American political system is rigged.

What makes you think I haven't tried it a few dozen times?
