It seems we will lose games before the end of the season. If we lose to a crappy team, people will say it's the end of the world. But if we lose to a good, people will say we don't have what it takes to beat the good teams. So how many will we lose and who do you want to lose to?

Nice. Make up generalizations of what everyone else will say... and act like you're the only one who has his head screwed on straight... lmao.

You do realize how that comes across?

I'm OK with losing *Friday*, as I don't expect us to beat the Warriors. No problem with losing either Houston game. OK with losing the Clippers game 3/18 on the second half of a home-road back-to-back. I expect we'll lose in NO on 3/27 (although that will suck, because I think they're our top competition for the 3 seed). Losing in Denver on 4/9 wouldn't bother me much, unless it significantly impacts our seeding.

So, that's 6 losses the rest of the way that I'd be OK with. Depending on the circumstances, dropping home games against CLE and/or BOS wouldn't phase me all that much either.

I hope our only loss comes tonight too, cause there wont be a winner. ;)

You dont pick your losses dude. That's a losers mentality. You go into a game confident you can win every single game, or else you'll lose more due to a lack of confidence/competitive edge. You go into games wanting to win, as a player or fan. This whole "who do you want to lose to?" Is silly. I wanna win every goddamn game. Will it happen? No. But individually, every game you want to win.

King knows this. HE was just blasting some people a week or two ago about rooting for losses to make the prediction accurate or something like that. and he said anyone who actively looks fr a loss is not a fan... hence my disappointed post.

With that said, I think this is an imposter. King does not think we will lose anymore games. He is steadfast.

None. The Blazers will lose no games. Anyone who thinks the Blazers will lose games is not a good fan.

Oh, so now you "want" us to lose games?

King, King, King. What happened to you man? ;)

After hearing so many people mention how tough of an upcoming schedule we had, I finally took the time to look today. It really isn't that daunting, opponent-wise. When you factor in the away games it becomes a little tougher but I really think we can beat alot of the shittier teams, even at home.

Optimistically we go 13/17. That's besting all our lesser opponents and stealing a couple from the Rocket/Warrior/Celtic matchups.

Realistically we go 9/17, losing to superior opponents and having a couple stolen by lesser teams.

My guess is somewhere in between, I'll say 11/17.

Nice. 6 losses means 50 win season.

I want to win every game too but we will lose.

KS what a weird thread and thread title...

Why think of losses? Think of securing that playoff berth. One game at a time.

Speaking of losses, who won that how many in 10 will we win game? Is it 8-0 right now?

Blazers will lose 4 more games. Don't want to lose to anyone.

I think we'll beat the Warriors. They'll be playing on the second night of a back to back and we'll be coming in fresh off of two days of rest. It's even likely that Kerr will rest one of their big three.

I don't want us to lose any games. I know we will, but I don't want it. Come on KS, don't look for us to lose.:smack:

Where's that HCP prediction thread? So far I'm right on pace.
Oh, you mean we already have a thread where we are talking about this exact topic? Get outta here FAMS!

Let's call it the liquid courage in me. We're not losing the rest of the season! This is our championship season!

If i can ride a bus in felony flats right now. We're believers and are going all the way!

All I'm going to say is I predicted the future this year. We won the championship!

I could see a loss against Golden state Friday but I could also see a win. Depends on how they come to play. Same with Houston or Boston. We play Houston two more times. The issue with Houston is we have always had a hell of a time with cp3. Wants that screen comes, he kills us from mid range. Then you have harden and everybody else there to space the floor. It’s tough. I don’t feel confident getting into a shoot out with them but you can grind at least one of those out as a win. Rest of the games are pretty tough, mostly teams we are competing against to get home court. Pelicans will be tough. These teams will be trying their ass off so we just gotta keep the momentum going. If you lose to the warriors Friday, pick the momentum back up with a win against the heat monday
