Granted, it's not as easy as just saying it.

All the games are tests. We're not beating the good teams, yes, but if we don't beat the bad teams, we go to the lottery. So we're passing the "stay in the playoff race" test.

Plus- this is not our team. It will take a long way until we have Joel and Greg smoothly transitioned into the team. And Roy will take his time to get in playoff shape. If we beat the bad teams along the way, we're in the playoffs. And starting that last month of the season, THEN we can talk about tests.

The way things stand right now, with Joel & Greg still out and Brandon struggling, the Blazers are in survival mode. Beat the weaker teams, maybe get one or two against playoff competition, and keep the record good enough so that making a move after the first of the year is possible. If we can't get Greg & Brandon playing at a high level by the playoffs, it's really pretty much the same as last year: one and done.
