The Tigers looked to be cream od the crop in the Central until "shit happened". Per MLB it was pointed out that Verlander, Scherzer, and Sanchez were the "big three" still on the roster. Problem is over his last five starts against competitor teams Mr V has not been the "V" of old. Also pointed out was the fact that the man has had a lot of mileage put on that arm. The Tigers may win that division but they won't do it in runaway fashion.

It seems like only yesterday that my Giants were 21 games over 500 & had a 9 1/2 game lead in the NL west but they've lost 7 of there last 8 & the Dodgers are now only 5 out. But like the Tigers I still expect them to win the division.

Tigers stopped the bleeding today, lot of new faces in that lineup. Kansas City, that's another team that I love to see get their a@@es kicked. Those late 70's series between the Yankees and Royals were played on a gas tank. While the current in absentia took steroids Nettles took names and kicked ass.
