LaGuardia, Philadelphia, and Newark with massive delays and a ground stop because of air traffic control sick outs. That will actually affect Trump's 1 percenter friends... :bwpopcorn:

He's going to re-open the government today with no wall funding to distract from the Stone indictments. I believe there's a press briefing right now (1:30 ET)

Oh I hope so! I work with a guy who's wife is a botanist for BLM and is also dealing with a terminally ill dad. Our team decided to take up a collection of cash... we didn't know what else to do for him - it's been horrible for his family.

sounds like a great team.....when I lived in the Sierra's and we had a long blizzard that shut down all the roads for weeks. we pooled together to make neighbors land payments so they wouldn't lose their land even though they couldn't get down the mountain to work....sometimes people can be great

Over 20 minutes late for the briefing. I wouldn't be hot and bothered to trot my orange fat ass out there either if I was about to cave

Of course this is all wishful thinking at this point but hey Friday has been pretty good so far let's keep it rollin'
 
Absolutely no indication that he will get funding for any wall whatsoever. He is, however, preaching for a bipartisan agreement that will surly not happen and when the dems don't agree to fund the wall he will shut down the government again and blame dems or declare a national emergency.

Or, he'll just stop talking about the wall going forward, focus on something else his lemmings can get behind, and hope it just goes away

At least the federal workers have figured out a way to call his bluff real quick. You shut down an airport. I would say Nancy Pelosi won this one but I actually give all credit to the air traffic controllers and TSA employees - good on ya, I don't blame you one bit! :cheers:

Ditto - when he got to the part where he now cared about the crisis of human trafficking after he shut down the FBI I had to go to the bathroom and vomit and I couldn't go back.

I want to point out that he did not write "No Tunnel" - because if he is going to Make America Great Again by paying for that wall - the Mexicans will probably build a tunnel and pay for it too, and what is a tunnel if not two caves that are joined together in blissful harmony. OK, I just confused myself now.

I've taken to just not responding to him. He and another I choose not to engage with, respond to my posts all the time. I just pretend they are on ignore.
