Finland is famous for having one of the happiest societies around but they are generally quiet folks amongst strangers...I have several Finnish friends and an American friend who works there every year for their orchestral concerts. He loves the place. I've never been but if I get to Europe it'd be one place I'd like to visit.

I flew through stopover once. Its like a big IKEA in a forrest.

If you look at the "happiest" cities in the world, they are usually homogenous white or high tech asian cities.

Nah, I'm like a mile to the ocean, so the temperature never gets above 80. Maybe an earthquake will strike some time.

Zombie Apocalpyse is already here with the homeless in LA.

Not according to the Harvard Study....check out the documentary "Happy".....you'll be surprised at what they found out.

Its funny that the happeist places to live are located in the PIGS countries where they really don't like to work all that much.

Places aren't happy, people are...this is a tourist poll, not a sociological study dude.....the Harvard study found the poorest people were the happiest. Bankok is the worst city in Thailand to live in ..Phuket is way more chill than Bankok..
