Hugo Chavez will give you 100 gallons of heating oil

CITGO has a program to deliver a free 100 gallons of heating oil to needy (financial hardship) families in one these 16 states

Maine, Vermont, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Washington DC, Delaware, Maryland, Alaska, Wisconsin, Michigan, and Indiana.

I've seen the commercials here in NY. It's a far better PR move than anything else he's done.

Joe Kennedy runs this. Despite critics that claim that he should not accept Venezuelan oil, he's helping a lot of families.

Chavez isn't doing this out of any sort of altruistic reasons - he knows his (potential) audience

I have not filled up @ 7-11, which uses Citgo, in years. Its lousy.

Does anyone know what it takes to qualify for this "gift"? I'd be interested to know.

If you can't afford your own, I'm sure it works well enough.

The Citizen's Energy site doesn't explicitly say what the requirements are, but the ads would say its living at the poverty level where you have to chose eat or heat.
