Let's say on draft day, Alex Len is available at #10. A couple teams are interested in a trade for either the pick or Leonard.

Which would you rather see the Blazers do, and which do you think the Blazers would do?

I'd trade leonard, heck I'd trade him for a later pick (14-20) if we could get Gorgui Dieng

But he's not American-born, so it's OK (or so says MM).

We need more blacks!!!!! Look at minny! They are walking wounded cause they are mostly white. We all know white people drink too much soda and smoke cigarettes. They will break down faster.

Says the Asian smoking a cig in his av.

Oden was the darkest white man I ever did see.

Is it just me or does Alex Len really look like Jonas Valanciunas (if he didn't have the beard going on)?

I think this is a good question. I have actually thought about it in the last couple of days. But i think it will come down to what the other teams wants. If we make a trade for a center in an unbalanced trade, will that team want a center back (Leonard- who makes much less money) or will they want our #10 so they can grab a different young center. (Or other position)

So it comes down to who is better, Leonard.......or Len, Gobert, Olynyk, or Dieng (Maybe Zeller?) Tough call right now. I need to watch more videos, but I would lean towards keeping #10.

I'd need more info. Is the offer the same for either Len or Leonard? What is the offer.

Len's probably got a better shot of being the center we need, so I'd trade Leonard (and whomever) else to get us a player that fills a hole in the starting lineup; whether that's a veteran defensive minded center or shooting guard, or whatever.

Basically I was getting at two different teams offering the same basic player. One wanted Leonard, the other wanted #10 and Len was available. Len appears to be a MUCH better defender.

Dieng coming out of college is probably a better defender, shot blocker, rebounder then Leonard will ever be. Leonard will likely be the better offensive player

Draft sites comparing prospects with NBA players they look a lot like? Unheard of!

LOL.

But fo' realz, I've seen several websites comparing the two on the court. It ain't difficult to make the connection that they look similar. They're both two, big ugly, white foreigners.

Keep them both.

Use cap space on Tyreke (or Iggy), Brandan Wright, Eric Maynor

Lillard/Maynor
Wes/Evans
Batum/Claver
Aldridge/Brendan Wright/Claver
Alex Len/Meyers/Brendan Wright

I think developing Meyers/Len we could get better return in the long run, rather than on draft night. I also firmly believe Len will already be better than Meyers offensively and defensively immediately.

I'm willing to give up on Leonard, but I'm not sure Olshey is. Remember all his talk last year of how Paul Allen asked who he'd draft when he was interviewing him, and Olshey said he said "Lillard and Leonard". If Olshey _is_ prepared to give up on Leonard then I'll be impressed.

Hypothetical Meyers Leonard is the name of my new indie rock band.
