So that said the worst record I could see us having is 47-35. That is not bad considering the devastation to our starting centers, the mid-season trade and Roy's hammy.

So 47-35....

That would mean that the following teams need to perform as follows:

Memphis currently 35-32 with 15 games remaining. 12-3 to tie us which would not be good for them because we tied the season series and we have a much better conference record. So basically for them to take our spot they need to go 13-2 as long as we play .500 ball. :dunno:

If I am thinking of this as a casino, we are the house and Memphis is the player. I like those odds. Don't get me wrong Memphis could go at a .866 clip for the rest of the season. They just have to play better than the Lakers or Cleveland ever have this season for their remaining games.

Houston actually has the better chance IMO because they have 18 games and one less loss than the Grizz. They also have a very good conference record so they might actually be able to tie us and boot us. They are currently 33-31 so they just need to go 14-4 to tie us. So if they play .777 ball or better the rest of the way they could pull off a major upset.

Again, I like our odds of being at least the 8 seed.

I hope you didn't just make an ass out of u & me.

I assumed we would play at least .500 ball all season. The boys would have to go 1-13 for that to happen now.
