There are players in this league--lots of them--who play NO defense, but are great on offense. Few people criticize them, and certainly not at the level Collins is criticized here. Teams win big games with defense.</p>

That said, the Collins era is basically over. Frank is going small ball, with the fastest, quickest most athletic players on the court. Williams is now averaging 19.9 minutes a game. Collins is down to 17.6, eight minutes below his career numbers. One is going up, the other is going down. </p>
