Their offensive games are about as opposite as I can imagine. Dante is almost purely a mid-range jump shooter with a super low foul rate, Kersey was almost exclusively a finisher and high flyer that had a really dodgy jump shot. In terms of intangibles and hustle I guess I can sort of see the comparison (if I squint and tilt my head just so) ... who knows what he'll turn into, I'll just be happy if he can provide some decent defense, rebounding and some efficient scoring to fill in the gaps. Expecting anything else out of a second rounder isn't really fair.
Kinda reminds me of Udonis Haslem if I'm looking for an NBA comparison. Solid defender and rebounder that can stick the mid-range jimmy if he's left open.
