So on Sunday morning I'm getting ready for work. I just got out of the shower and was about to leave when I got a call at 7:30...I answered it figuring it was someone calling for my dad (who was out of state on business). I could barely understand the person on the other end. It was apparently someone from the Appleton Police Department (didn't know who it was), they said that I was on a list to come over there and do some work because of problems with their auxiliary. The person calling me sounded just like my Menasha supervisor and I was a little confused but a little excited...Apparently I would be working security for a couple nights and they needed me on short notice (which is exactly what my department does, they call me at all hours asking me to help them). So I figured, wow, this is pretty cool...the guy on the other end was fumbling around with some questions (many of which were from my application). The guy on the other end sounded real and was laid back just like my supervisor. Then he started asking me wierd questions. "Can you deal with people of different races..." I said, "Yes, I get along with..." "A nigger?" "Yes, I get along with everyone. I was like "did he just f*cking say nigger too me?"...I almost couldn't believe it...Remember I could hardly hear anything and had to ask them like a dozen times to repeat himself. I told him I couldn't carry a weapon (I thought it was fishy considering auxiliary cannot carry firearms and they having my application obviously would know I'm not certified.) But anyway, the rest of the questions and chatter went ok, I was a little confused with some of the wierd questions but I figured the guy didn't know me that well... Then he asked me for my sizes for a uniform...he asked me what my pants size was...then my shirt size...Then he said, 'Don't be shy'...and I said XL because thats what I wear and he's like, "You are a big boy" and I was like 'WTF'... Remember, I get goofy calls from my supervisors so this didn't even register to me as being a prank...until after I hung up. At the end of the call (which went on for like 20 minutes) he said that at the department you call your superiors 'sir'...and I said ok..and he says, 'say it'...and I was confused and I'm like..'yes sir'...and it was awkward...and then we both said goodbye and agreed to meet at Appleton Police Department at 2:00. I was supposed to be at work at 8:00 to open with my assistant manager. But because of the phone call it was already 8:05 and I couldn't just hang up on the guy...he said I would be getting overtime...I figured my assistant manager would understand. I end the phone conversation and run out to my car and I speed to work...Our restaurant opened at 8:00 so my boss was there alone for 25 minutes...I pull into work and run to the back door...it's -7 degree's and I am pounding on the door...her car is there and I'm yelling 'Julie! open up!'...I go to the front and the doors are locked...when we are supposed to be open...A customer and his family were standing at the door and I told them I didn't know what was going on...so they left...I could not go in...I was stuck outside....After walking around for 15 minutes and pounded at the door...I decided to go home and call the police...I got into my car and took off and was turning to get onto the main road when I saw my assistant manager walking on the side of the road... So I pulled back into the parking lot just when she walked up to my car...she looked pale and freezing, I opened up the door and she came in...She had a newspaper and a coffee...she told me when I didn't show up she went outside to see if I was there and the door accidently closed behind her and she locked all her keyes inside...leaving her with no keys and no money...She looked pretty pissed. (I had been late 2 weeks ago because my battery died twice). Turns out she called my manager at the gas station and she had to come all the way over and open up the store. My manager came in and opened things up. Our fryer had been left open and sh*t was everywhere....(she left it open quickly to check the door for me). So the place was a complete mess. My manager had a hangover and was super pissed because it was her day off. Because of this she fired me in her office after a long talk. I tried to give her my story but she was not having any of it...I guess this was my 'third strike' because of my two previous times of being late... I was so f*cking pissed when I drove home, I sped into our driveway and stormed into my house. My mom was still sleeping on her day off and I sat on the couch. Then I started thinking about the Appleton call from earlier that morning...Then it popped into my head...THE APPLETON POLICE DEPARTMENT DOESN'T HAVE AN AUXILIARY! That whole call was a bunch of bullsh**. I called my supervisor from work and he told me the same thing, that Appleton only had CSO's...etc...Then I was like, who and the F*ck did this to me? I went on Facebook to see if one of my friends had done it...nothing...then I just went on BBW to see what was up..I looked to see who was on...and Reppin's name was on there...BOOM...it hit me...I remembered the prank he pulled on Tony...Then at that moment I knew it was him. Sure enough 5 minutes later I get an AIM from him, I was f*cking pissed so I blocked him...then I saw his latest post saying 'Officer Josh' from Appleton Police. So Reppin got me. Haha...right now I'm looking for a new job.
