It's not supposed to actually be red until around 1206 pdx time. What you are seeing now is the start of the eclipse. It won't be red until the moon is fully eclipsed.

Exactly what I was thinking. I was debating taking a drive over to the oregon city viewing point off of 205 to try and get a good shot. But my phone wouldn't do it justice.

Mars. Virgo is right next to it.

Download the Google Sky Map app, hold it up to the sky and it will tell you the name of all the stars, planets and satellites.
