I FING HATE BASEBALL and the 4 letter's coverage of it.....blah blah 100 million hightlights of crap team in their 2ND games of the season rather than showing HIGHLIGHTS of the NBA playoff races. The most meaningless bs sport in the world is baseball.....cricket has more highlight and is faster paced. COme on Big Portland over the spurs in SAN = more time for stupid ass baseball scores!

COME ON ESPN get a life BASEBALL SUCKS!

NFL
NBA
SOCCER (EPL/CHAMP/WORLD/MLS/USL)
Cricket

Sumo

Pumpkin Chunking

Polar Bear Swimming

lameball

Blazers over the Spurs is the first video highlight on ESPN.com's main page.

Baseball is responsible for global warming, the poor economy, and it punches small puppies just for fun.

I'd rather watch the grass they play on grow rather than the games.

Yep this is the time of year where I start skipping sportscenter (which should be called baseball center, and then they usually follow it with baseball tonight amazingly enough) and only watching NBATV or NBA fast break.

I have to agree with this. In fact, SC is never worse than in mid to late June, all the way through the end of July, just before NFL training camp starts. It's awful. I don't even watch it. I do like Baseball, but just "like" it. You know? I like it. I like a lot of things I don't need to see endless highlights of. I don't know why ESPN has such a hard-on for Baseball.

One thing that always bothers me about ESPN (well, more than one thing) is how "baseball tonight" is on year round. At least it seems that it is.

Also, if it's the Red Sox and Yankees, it leads!

The NBA show on ESPN is horrible. ESPN's basketball shows period is just not worth watching.

ESPN can suck it. I'm tired of hearing Colin Cowheard in the morning talking about Jay Culter, the Patriots, and basically anything NFL related when there's a massive playoff push in the western conference going on.

I suppose they're just trying to appeal to the masses... but I hate it.

Baseball is shit...they always have to bring it up even in the off-season

I agree, the time between the end of the Blazers season and the beginning of NFL is the worst part of the year sports wise. Hopefully the Blazers will go deep into the playoffs shortening the time inbetween!

Now we have the Timbers in the MLS! F Lameball!
rioded up pansies if they had any balls they would play any other sport....every highlight is this: pitch adjusts himself, spits, gets off mound, waves off 100 pitches, then pitch is ready, batter steps out of the box....rinse wash repeat.

100,000 highlights a week for 8 fing months

the epl plays a long season but damn if baseball isnt 30 gams a day for 192 fing games get a fing clue shorten the amount of games jesus who fing came up with the number yeah umm lets play 192 fing games! brillant!

82 is long but 192 plus playoffs is like dropping 60 nukes on one building.

stop complaining. OH NOES THEY ARE SHOWING BASEBALL HIGHLIGHTS WHAT AM I GONNAZ DOZ???!!!

you must love paceball?

you will love it when the cut away from the blazers playoff game to show the opening of the brews vs the padres.

just shut up. no one wants to hear you bitch about something when you can just turn the channel

and obviously baseball doesnt suck because ESPN will show what gets ratings. so...................

The way you feel about baseball, I feel about soccer and hockey.

What the fuck should ESPN be talking about in July? Nothing happens in either the NBA or NFL, and whether you guys want to believe it or not, there's a shitload of baseball fans out there that are interested in the sport and watch the coverage it gets. So what the fuck do you want ESPN to do in the summer? Show a million fucking golf highlights? Or a million fucking tennis highlights? Change the channel if you don't like it.

OMFG L0GIC!!!! :ohno:

lol paceball isnt interesting until after the world sories.

GO BLAZERS! SALARY CAPS RULE! funny last i check it was april not july plus there is Aussie Rules Football, NRL, Tri-Nations rather watch them then 80 highs of men "adjusting" themselves if i wanted to watch that i would go to a chip&dales show.

Chip&Dale were the Rescue Rangers. Chippendale's is what you were going for.

From what I saw on SportsCenter, there's weren't any "adjustments". There were minute-long recaps of almost every game played in NBA last night, a few (by no means all 15) of the MLB games, a couple hockey highlights of the playoff-run games, a Master's Showcase and Mel Kiper talking for a couple minutes.

True, there was no Aussie Rules Football, rugby, auto racing or cricket that I remember.

Guess what? The HGTV channel had back-to-back-to-back "10 Greatest..." shows on. I didn't watch those, because I'm not interested in the best million-dollar marble bathrooms with infinity pools and 18th-century hardware fixtures. Stand by for the *&(&*^*&^* thread.

Baseball is great.

This is my favorite time of the year. You have March Madness, NBA stretch run/playoffs, The Masters (golf), and baseball season.

a great waste of time much like nascar the best season is fall you get:

college football
the nba
soccer
the nfl
and paceball is finally put out of its misery.

lmao @ paceball. did you think of that one by yourself there einstein?

yeah due to the slow pace of the game i thought i would come up with something that the players and fans could understand.
