My power supply went out and I have to get a new one. I decided since I have to do computer surgery it's a good time to upgrade the video.

I went with this one.

I've had both nVidia and AMD cards in the past but I'm going with the AMD because their driver support is a little better and I'm running two of these -

And an HDMI cable out to the 60" 4K TV.

So a 3 monitor set up.

And that screen saver just POPS!!!!

In march I moved back home and my computer got wrecked so it was an excuse for a new one! Was the closest in 5-6 years I've come to getting AMD (for cpu or gpu) in a while. My work computer has AMD stuff and it works pretty good not a of problems other than chipset issues with MBs.

Ended up going with an I9 and the 2080 super, for now, will probably get another one in the near future (not for gaming) but for Maya, Autocad and Solidworks. In my experience, SLI has always worked better than crossfire. Wish I had of gotten a 2080ti but I'll be fine heh.

I think it's clear AMD is serious about this game the last couple of years though. They've got some really good products.

One neat thing was usually my storage drives have just been giant HDD's. SSD's are so cheap at this point I got 3.5tb of SSD storage now. I also still have the giant HDD but I may never use it cause I cloud a lot of stuff.

Mom supplies me with my computer. She found just the place to park it in her basement. Keeps me out of her hair. Now I can lay on the bed day and night eating twinkies and drinking Pepsi direct out of the quart.

Takes a nerd thread to drag you out of the woods huh? LAAAMMMFAOO!!@! :)

Consoles only. Very excited for this game, many enthusiasts have been building up their PC's exclusively for it.

I live for video games. Mom says that's all I do but she's wrong. I also eat twinkies and drink Pepsi by the gallon. Oh, and I also do unthinkable things with girlie magazines. Oh, people, people, I post the editorials above my bed. What did you think I did?

Psh. Buy em all. I have an Xbox One X, Ps4 Pro, regular PS4, Two nintendo Switches, and PC’s! Course I also have 4 kids which means that which ever one I want to play (if I even have time too) is taken. Lol.

This is just my humble brag that S2 is paying me way too much.

We know you like Volume. :)

WHoa! Consoles only Meaning no playstation?

Meaning I only play consoles. This game is seven years in the making!! Available on all platforms but high level PC will be required for Max graphics and city population density. "Night City" is actually based on a traditional table top RPG.

Gotcha. PS5 is supposed to be great graphics, im sure it will satisfy me.

I loved my PC. can't afford the upgrades, but it got me 6 years of good use.

As for consoles, Xbox is the worst thing ever created. It has and always will be PS. I freaking hate the Xbox so much. Mainly for their controllers. PS5 will be fun!

Interesting take. So I actually like the xbone controllers more than the dualshock. Super subjective here though.
My pro’s for xbox would be Gamepass is super cool. We got two years free and theirs always good games on there. the one x on our expensive tv looks flat out awesome, streaming to PC works so much better than playstations version

For Playstation a lot more exclusive titles. The UI isn't a nightmare. Horizon Zero Dawn.

I was being hyperbole, a bit.

PC is #1, without question. It's just soooooo expensive to keep up. PS is #2, I just love the controller (which is a deal-breaker for me) and the whole setup of it.

bullshit....I guarantee you, no matter what it is, somebody has thought it. Likely a member of this forum. perverts-r-us
How did you find out about our ultra top secret organization. Has Sly been leaking that info again? Dammit, he's part of security and one of our best at cracking heads.

I always make it a point to stop by on Thursday afternoons for her fresh-baked and warm chocolate chip cookies and milk. Your mom is definitely the pride of the neighborhood.

So dirty.
Not sure if you saw, but TakeTwo gave the dev a contract then poached their talent and then backed out of the contract. It is taketwo's IP I guess but the developers kinda got screwed by them. Then they used COVID19 as a "mask" for what they were doing. I believe Kirbel 2 was delayed because of all of it too.

Oh I saw. Then the devs were notified on LinkedIn or something. It was a weird situation.
