What I had posted pertained to non-binary males sleeping in the same quarters with young girls at a camp,......apparently, without the parents' knowledge. Now, wouldn't that seem a bit problematic in your estimation?

Of course. Parents should have been notified. That doesn't mean those people are molesters though. Just like all pastors are not molesters.

I've been at many church camps growing up. I was told if I didn't change my ways I would be beaten in dark alleys with baseball bats and chains. At that time I had never drank or done drugs of any kind. My parents had no idea this was happening to me. I was even put in time out. By the end of camp they realized the mistakes they had made and sucked up to me and my friends because we were all good kids. Just not church kids that had been homeschooled for their entire lives.

The point in this context, though, is....parents should always be wary/responsible when they send their kids off to places. Yes, this INCLUDES church camps!

I remember going to this big Christian youth convention in Eugene when I was in high school. One of the biggest subjects was how the Eagles were messengers of the Devil. They went verse by verse of Hotel California telling us all about how it was full of secret messages designed to make us worship satan. They even should us how Anton Levey, the Pope of the Devil worshipers was on the back of the album cover.

And we're all like... dude, the Eagles are cool and all that but that was 20 years ago, lol.

Apparently, Frankie Goes to Hollywood is also devil music because there are gays in the band.

Back in the late 60's and early 70's Tabor was my go to on Friday or Saturday night, where to park.
Spend hours up there with chicks.

What I've found is that most religious places are cult like in their own way...

From the outside looking in... They are all just different flavors of cult.
