Darren Collison?

Their college stats have a 95.7% correlation.

I look forward to the hoopsanalyst preview of the draft every year. The analysis that Ed Weiland does is really interesting. And generally pretty solid when it comes to ranking players too.

It begins with the point guards.

I never watched KP play in college, so for someone who has, can you tell me if this sounds like his game:

Long and skinny
Quick
Below average shot
Score first PG
Ugly form

I think if KP like players like himself he would draft someone without a lot of NBA talent, but a good eye for talent to be honest.

I give whoever designed that site the Burnt Biscuit Award.

lmao! the good ol days! I have searched far and wide (in the last few minutes) for a pic of the burnt biscuit thing.. but to no avail

Hey, less time working on sweet cutting edge web design means more time for analyzing basketball I guess.

And wasn't that Ed Whelan?

yes.. I was just being an ass.

If you are looking for a guy who may some day be your starter, Collison is not that guy. If you are looking for a guy specifically as a back-up - you could do worse. The kid is smart, mature, unselfish, and works hard on defense.

In reality, I can only see one scenario where Collison becomes a Blazer: Blake and Sergio would both wind up being traded, a new starter would be brought in (eg Sessions, Miller), and the team needed a safety net in case Bayless doesn't pan out.

agreed! (minus the sessions part) x2

I would hope KP likes players significantly more talented than himself.

Didn't KP say that if he were evaluating himself he would have himself as a non-draftee?

I think I read that in a BlazersEdge interview at some point...
