If the Blazers Didn't Want Dame Anymore...

I bet he grew up a Laker fan during the Kobe Shaq era.

LA makes sense. Go prop up a sagging top-tier franchise in your home state. He's already said he wouldn't join a super-team so GSW makes no sense (if GSW wasn't where it was, no doubt he'd have said GSW). So his answer makes 100% sense to me.

The question and answer is fucking whack. Surprised he entertained that bull shit. Let's blow sunshine up LA's ass for no good reason. Because LA fans are struggling for rumors of players don't deserve anyway. Woof dude. Dame your better than that.

Mark this date in your timelines: this is the moment when the love affair between Lillard and Portland turned.

Which date do we mark down? The date he said it? Date of the article? Date of a particular response?

I realize we allegedly elected Trump, so I really am surprised by very little these days. But to get worked up over this? Dame was been one of the most steadfast, upstanding, loyal dudes the NBA game has seen in years.

Yes.

Why do I get the feeling like Portland is like NBA version of those desert rest stops with the Perma-fried cashier looking at his Tablet while you wonder how the hell anybody lives out here.... at least that's how every NBA player feels deep down inside. Dame is one of the few players that I don't think does. Bless his socks.

Your bi-weekly gloomy meditations on how Portland, and other small markets, are simply weigh stations on the route to hell in the NBA landscape are becoming addicting. You should collect them into a coffee table book.

That's not a bad idea. Got to have a good foreward though.
