Herro & Rui are going to get drafted before 20. Johnson & Williams aren't any better prospects than Chuma, Bazley, Luka, or King.

Chuma & Bazley are my top 2 prospects (even above Rui or Herro).

The juice isn't worth the squeeze for trading up....

Recency bias. I'd love to trade Meyers - but there's no way he can be used to move up in the draft.
 
Dealing with Danny might be best thing to he might want you give next 5 year draft picks to get one that how he operates. I know you can't give up consecutive draft 1st round picks but he try make you pay. How do you think why got so many picks now. Trading down is not bad idea it will depends on how good you like Bazley and some of the other players that might be fringe 1st round picks.

Wiz: Positionally, he just doesn't make sense (Ant), even if he is BPA (no idea whether he is or isn't). I'd rather have PF Mfiondu Kabengele who has pro size and can hit the 3, and is slated to go 2 picks later in that same mock draft.
 
I'm sure I'm in the minority here, but I want the Blazers to swing for the fences at 25 -- draft the longest, most athletic, highest-potential player on the board, even if he's a project. I'm struggling to remember the last time we had a guy who could make a difference because of elite athleticism/size/length. Who that is I have no idea, don't watch enough college ball anymore to form an opinion.

I look at next year as likely to be a throw-away year, I'm sure Dame won't let us miss the playoffs, but given the $ situation, I expect Olshey to keep his action to bargain bin diving and likely little to nothing else. Why not use a lost year to develop a raw talent.

Seems to me that's Bazley, who has been talked about a lot here as this year's Anfernee Simons.
 
Kab is not a PF.

He can run and jump off 2 but doesn't move nearly well enough laterally or when covering ground and changing direction.

Maybe against 2 big lineups, but isn't that was Zach is for?

I think Kab has a good chance to be productive and seems to be a very smart kid off the floor. NBA bloodlines as well.

Just think Grant is the smarter player and a better fit with our roster both now and moving forward.

I was actually just thinking that. All it will take is a good workout for a team to pick him much earlier than #25.
