If you could wish a crash and burn season on one team which team would it be? My guess is that most will choose either the Lakers, the Heat, or the Thunder.

If you asked this on fan boards for every team in the league, the Lakers would be the choice on 29 of them.
 
I root for the Lakers to go 0-82 every year and then have the franchise fold because all the bandwaggoners become Clippers fans.

Agreed. Fuck the Thunder for becoming the NBA "darlings" and "the model franchise for how to rebuild." I hate the Lakers, but they are, and have been for a very long time the model franchise, making all the right moves. If it was so easy to build through the draft Minny, the Clippers, and the Warriors would have had two decades off All Star talented rosters. The fact is the Thunder lucked into getting Durant, Westbrook, and Harden and for people to say "they did it the right way" is ludicrous. And all the "experts" are saying the Thunder are the team to beat in the West after the Dwight Howard trade is just stupid, the Thunder didn't even have the best record in the west last year.

Not that I have a problem with pics of muscular gay dudes, but I vote for the chocolate cake over the beefcake. I LOVE chocolate. It is my kryptonite. Actually, bring back the gay guy pics. Looking at that cake is making me hungry. I swear, if you were my neighbor, I'd weigh 300 pounds, yet be oddly content...

Where's the "all of the above" button? I hate all three, for different reasons. Assuming the Blazers don't contend, this is the year I hope someone else comes out of nowhere and wins the title.

Maybe Derrick Rose can be healthy and the Bulls will win. Maybe the Spurs will get one more ring for Timmy before he retires. It's not that far fetched, the Bulls and Spurs tied for the best regular season record last year. If Rose hadn't got injured, I bet the Bulls would have pushed the Heat to the limit and could have actually beaten them.

Not a big Clippers fan, but I'd rather see them win the title than any of the three on this poll.

I understand all the reasons to hate on the other teams in the list, but it just has to be the Lakers. For as long as I remember that's been the second score I check daily: did the Blazers win? Ok, did the Lakers lose? I'm a little ashamed at how much raw joy it brings to my day when the answers to these two trivial questions are both "yes".
