Ilic played only 10 minutes, but once again proved a shot-blocking force, batting away two. In 37 minutes of D-League action, Ilic now has 7 blocks. The 7'-2" Serb was among Europe's top shotblockers last year.</div>

Can someone explain this too me (I am being a little bit sarcastic about this)? The Nets send Ilic to develop in another league. The team they sent him to is controlled indirectly by the Nets (since they descide to send players to it or not). Now why do they not give instructions to the team's coach to play Ilic 40 minutes per game. It makes all the sense in the world to get this guy playing time in games that don't really count. How else is the guy supposed to improve his game?
